A Level Resources for Students and Teachers

These resources represent a wide range of academic achievement, and are to be read critically. They will not do your thinking for you.

Try NATE's useful A Level page, too.

I am particularly excited about the AQA English Language and English Literature, Specification B, not least because it seems to provide real learning challenges for students. To begin with, take a look at An Introduction to WWI Poetry which might prove useful with the WW1 Anthology. Don't forget Key Skills - see The QCA Website.

Introduction to the Project C18 Background

This hypertext offers a new approach towards understanding the language of eighteenth-century sensibility. It provides an atmospheric view of the multiple connotations of the terms of that language. Rather than attempting strict definitions, this project offers a tool for recognizing the multivalence of such words as "virtue," "enthusiasm," and "community."
